CardDrop is a service of Voodoo Rodeo LLC. By using CardDrop, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CardDrop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

CardDrop is an SMS-first service that allows you to capture business cards by texting photos to our number. We automatically extract contact information using AI and sync it to your phone contacts and CRM. Additional features include natural language search, follow-up reminders, voice memo transcription, and web upload.

3. User Accounts

To use CardDrop, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to share
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to CardDrop. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6. Service Limitations

Free accounts are limited to:

  • 5 business card scans per month
  • Google Contacts sync
  • Basic search functionality

Pro accounts include:

  • Unlimited business card scans
  • All sync destinations (Google, Microsoft, CRMs)
  • Follow-up reminders and calendar integration
  • Voice memo transcription
  • Priority processing
  • CSV export

Limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.

7. SMS Messaging Terms

CardDrop (a service of Voodoo Rodeo LLC) offers SMS-based services at (209) 299-0966. By opting in to SMS, you agree to the following:

  • Program Name: CardDrop by Voodoo Rodeo LLC
  • Program Description: An SMS-based business card capture and contact management service. Users text photos of business cards to save contacts, receive follow-up reminders, search contacts, and manage their professional network via text message.
  • Opt-in: You may opt in by texting START to (209) 299-0966, or by texting the number displayed on our website at carddrop.co with SMS consent disclosures. You must reply START to confirm before any service messages are sent.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your usage. You will receive messages when you scan business cards, search contacts, set follow-up reminders, or interact with the service.
  • Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Opt-out: You can opt out at any time by texting STOP to (209) 299-0966. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
  • Help: Text HELP to (209) 299-0966 for assistance, or contact support at carddrop.co/help.

Supported carriers include major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. You can use CardDrop via the web without SMS.

8. Payment Terms

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CardDrop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI extraction will be 100% accurate. You should review extracted contacts for accuracy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardDrop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
